In collaboration with Girls Who Code, Crumbl Cookies brings attention to the growing gender gap in the STEM field. During National Coding Week, Crumbl is releasing a line of cookies inspired by each letter in STEM, as well as an exclusive flavor that is unlocked after the completion of a cookie-based block coding game created by Girls Who Code turning the web-based cookies into real ones.
With every cookie purchase during National Coding Week, Crumbl will donate 35% of its profits to Girls Who Code, mirroring the percentage of women in STEM. The goal is to provide support for Girls Who Code and promote interest in coding and STEM in the eyes of the youth through delicious cookies.
This advertising campaign ranges from an online to an outdoor presence through its social media, out-of-home, and ambient ads. Paired with a merchandise line, this campaign combines nonprofit and corporate advertising to create a social good campaign that benefits both parties. The colors chosen are a combination of both Crumbl’s and Girls Who Code’s branding to create a sense of cohesion and collaboration.
